Like everyone else, we at Georgetown Suites are glad to see the beginning of re-opening. We also understand, however, that the world has changed. We must continue to address concerns regarding cleaning and social distancing so we all remain safe. Georgetown Suites is ready to welcome you back, and we will continue to take extra steps to ensure the health and safety of our guests and employees. We are actively complying with the latest guidance and recommendations from the CDC & industry associations regarding hygiene and cleaning.
The additional steps we’ve implemented include:
Additional staff dedicated to extra cleaning of all public areas.
Staff & guests are required to wear masks and in public areas as recommended by the CDC.
No lobby and breakfast seating to encourage social distancing.
Our continental breakfast is now grab and go style. All items are individually wrapped and plastic/paper plates, cups and cutlery that are individually wrapped are provided.
A plastic barricade has been installed at the front desk to reduce guest/staff contact.
Cash transactions are not accepted.
Public restrooms, business center and fitness centers are temporarily closed.
Disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer are provided in the lobby for guest use.
We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after each guest departs and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items.
We are limiting housekeeping service to every other day to reduce exposure to both our guests and staff. Guests can request delivery of additional toiletries, towels, linens or coffee from the front desk if needed.
Guest rooms will remain vacant for at least 24 hours between guests.
